Character personality:
Sirus is shown to be a mostly calm and collected person most of the time, generally willing to accept things as they are unless it comes to those things he cares for being endangered or taken from him...at which point he becomes quite emotional and distressed, and can become very stubborn as well. There a wisdom that's older than he seems to be in the manner he speaks, and he is obviously intelligent and knows quite a bit about his world. When he has a set purpose or goal in mind he is entirely determined to see it through, even in the event that goal may be wrong. And he may be slow to admit its wrongness aloud or stop even when he is aware of the fact. But once he comes to terms with things, he is willing to let the negativity go and correct any errors he's made. He doesn't shy away from his responsibilities if aware of them.
As is the trend with his race...and most races besides humans, he has a natural wariness when it comes to humans and is usually slow to trust them. A trait pretty much exclusive to Moon People is an attachment for the moon that they hail from. He has no large ambitions normally and is quite content wherever he can simply hang around and enjoy the flowers or spend time with someone he cares for. His love of flowers is so great that it's the first definite thing that's revealed about him as a person to the protagonists.
The fact that he possessed the Ultimate Atlamillia is proof that he is far from evil, as it's revealed well before he's met in person that Atlamillia choose their masters and never choose those with evil in their hearts. The evil he generated throughout the majority of the game was born of the intense hate he'd developed towards humans, which became the Dark Element and possessed him. Without its influence he reverted back to his normal persona which was shown to be very kind and caring...as well as a little spunky.
Digimon partner personality:
Lunamon is a kind and considerate digimon who doesn't particularly like to fight and tries to avoid unnecessary confrontations or jumping to conclusions about situations and people. As such she tries to listen to all sides in a situation instead of just deciding fully based on partial information. She is willing to do what is best for others and especially those close to her though, and is not afraid to take a firm hand or sacrifice herself for their safety, Anger doesn't come easily to her, though she will say if there's something she doesn't approve of.
She believes that everything must happen for a reason, even if it isn't known. Nothing is meaningless in her eyes. She has a playful side when spending time with her friends and has no qualms with romping around to play hide-and-see any more than she does just sitting and enjoying another's company.
Character abilities:
While much of his known magic comes from his Atlamillia, Moon People are capable of it on there own. This is supported by the fact that many Moon People reside in Starlight Temple in the future, which is a known gathering place for mystics, including the sage Crest.
In his own body, he was shown to be able to levitate, teleport short distances, conjure roses which were used as dangerous projectiles, generate a thin mid-range energy beam,, create temporary barriers around himself, send out a wave of energy in a roughly three-foot radius around himself, and generate a translucent energy around his hand which he could shoot at an appropriate target.
(These abilities most like would do little more than annoy an adult-level digimon, but could be dangerous to child-level and under.)

Sirus sighed as he walked up the street, his digimon partner beside him. This place was so different from Terra and that had him both curious and unsure of himself here, Really what did one do when he found himself in a new world when he was supposed to be dead anyway. Placing his hands behind his head, he closed his eyes with a sigh, though his feet kept him moving forward.
"Are you worrying about what to do now?" Lunamon asked, poking his side gently. She was always paying close attention to him, which he found kind of nice at times. It reminded him of Alexandra a bit, only he was the one looking out for the digimon.
"A little I guess. This is all new, you know?" Scratching his head sheepishly, Sirus looked at her. "It's not that odd to you?"
Lunamon only smiled. "Not that much. We'll figure out how to work as partners and be good friends. That's the feeling you give me, so it's not weird to me."
