Character Name: Sirus
Fandom: Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2)
Character History:
Where Sirus came from is never fully revealed, as the earliest thing confirmed is that he simply appeared in the Moon Flower Palace with no name or home that he knew of, but he later recalls his role as a Guardian of the Stars. It's also implied that he's no older than Max or Monca, making him around 14-15, if not a little younger.
He states late in the game, that the Ancients gave his ancestors the knowledge of how to stop the Star of Oblivion (the world's second moon) and that that knowledge was passed down to him, being his true purpose in life should humans prove that the Star was no longer needed, but that the memory had been blocked. Somehow, due to events prior to him finding his way to the palace garden most likely, those memories and knowledge were locked away. Given the fact that his world was being ravaged by wars as the humans fought for control over the Atlamillia, it's very likely that his home was destroyed and whatever trauma occurred during that resulted in his memory being erased.
As he was then though, he hadn't known any of this and had somehow gotten into the Moon Flower Palace's garden to admire the flowers. He was caught by a guard who assumed he was a thief despite his protests and insistence that he wasn't. As he was being forced out they passed by the queen, Alexandra. Much to his and the guard's surprise, Alexandra not only believed him over the guard, but gave him the name "Sirus" and allowed him to live in the palace as garden caretaker upon learning he had no name or home. The two of them became close friends over time and life was blissful for Sirus with her. He learned a lot from her, especially the belief that everything in life has a role.
Soon though, more wars followed and it came to the point that Alexandra's kingdom would fall to her enemies. Despite his almost tantrum-like protests, Alexandra decided to remain and fall with her kingdom rather than escape...but ordered him to escape alone. He's later seen walking the barren land alone and questioning both her decision and the point of warring over some stupid shiny stones, when it involved and hurt those who had nothing to do with anything. The humans had managed to collect the three Atlamillia and the world had been ravaged by the second moon falling to wipe out most life on the planet as a result, which explains why his time period only had one moon when the protagonists go there.
Character Personality:
One of the first things noted about Sirus by the few people who come to know him is that he is a nice, kind boy. This is also somewhat supported by the fact that Sirus was chosen by the Ultimate Atlamillia, because while the three Atlamillia are apparently somewhat sentient and seemed to want to push the world towards a certain future they don't choose those who are inherently evil and can choose a new owner on a whim. But the most obvious trait he has is the love of flowers. It's the first thing in the game that anyone learns about him as a person and the first chronological flashback shown for him, and one of his attacks in battle is to launch roses with piercing stems.
Sirus is shown to be a mostly calm and collected person most of the time, generally willing to accept things as they are unless it comes to those things he cares for being endangered or taken from him...at which point he becomes quite emotional and distressed, and can become very stubborn as well. Any shock or disbelief that may follow any positive happening unexpectedly can be set aside in seconds on a normal day. There a wisdom that's older than he seems to be in the manner that he speaks, and he is obviously intelligent and knows quite a bit about his world, which is likely a combination of his time period, original upbringing, and his time with Alexandra.
He can become easily attached to people who are kind to him or who he can sympathize with, human or otherwise. People that he becomes attached to he likes to hang out with, can relax around, and may even enjoy playing games or receiving physical affection from. In his current state though, feeling abandoned or betrayed by someone he trusts could cause a violent reaction, as would someone taking the person he cares for away.
When he has a set purpose or goal in mind he is entirely determined to see it through, even in the event that goal may be wrong, and he may be slow to admit its wrongness aloud or stop even when he is aware of the fact. But once he comes to terms with things, he is willing to let the negativity go and correct any errors he's made. He tries not to shy away from his responsibilities if aware of them. Even if he can't bring himself to admit he's directly done something he think might be wrong as soon as it happens, he'll eventually come and confess.
As is the trend with his race...and most races in his world besides humans, he has a natural wariness when it comes to humans and is usually slow to trust them. In his current canon point, this mistrust is amplified by grief-stricken hatred and the budding mindset that the world would be better of without them. A trait pretty much exclusive to Moon People is an attachment for the moon that they originally hail from and all things related to it.
An important note to his character at the current point is that he has the capacity to nurture darkness in his heart unknowingly and be possessed by it should he do so for too long. He has no large ambitions normally and is quite content wherever he can simply hang around and enjoy the flowers or spend time with someone he cares for, but the influence of the beginning darkness could cause dark or extremely vengeful thoughts and actions should something cause harm to what he values.
Powers and Abilities:
While much of his known powerful magic is implied to come from his Atlamillia, notably the ones that were able to affect people and events far in the future without leaving his own time period and the form he took on once he had all three, Moon People are capable of it on their own. This is supported by the fact that many Moon People reside in Starlight Temple in the future, which is a known gathering place for mystics, including the sage Crest. Two more Moon People, Pau (who can see the future, detects Mimics without activating them, and sense what monster has the stair key) and one other who has great skill against undead monsters, are encountered and can be recruited.
In his own body, he was shown to be able to levitate, teleport short distances, conjure roses which were used as dangerous projectiles, generate a thin mid-range energy beam,, create temporary barriers around himself, send out a wave of energy in a roughly five-foot radius around himself, and generate a translucent energy around his hand which he could shoot at an appropriate target. He was also able to permanently destroy the Star of Oblivion using his own magic just before dying of a fatal injury given to him beforehand.

So I guess I've probably put this off for long enough. I'd like to learn how to Bend and...I was wondering if someone might have the time to give me a few lessons. I don't really have anything to offer in exchange though, so I understand if the answers no.
That was it I guess. Bye.
Third Person:
Walking alone in the forest, Sirus simply kept his eyes on the ground in front of him as he shuffled along, even his ears dropping low. His pace was slow, no destination in mind and, really, he wasn't even paying attention to where he was going.
It had only been three days since he had found himself in this place called Nautilus. Not enough time to really come to terms with this new situation on top of everything else that had already happened. And what good was waking up somewhere new anyway? Alexandra was still gone, and he was still all alone. Other people being around didn't change that feeling at all. Actually, in a sense it was worse. It felt like there was a hole where his heart had been and that it would never go away. Even the flowers that he'd seen walking out here the past few days didn't help.
Tired of walking, he eventually slumped against a tree and slid down until he was almost flat on his back, staring straight at nothing. Why was he even here? He didn't understand.
Alexandra had taught him that everything had a role, the flower he had accidentally broken, him...her. She had decided that hers was to live and die in her kingdom, without him. He was still alive, even after the second moon had wiped out everything. And now here he was. Was his role here then? What was he supposed to do exactly? Whatever it was, he should probably try to learn and do it. Alexandra would want him to.
Raising his eyes to the leaves overhead, Sirus thought on the idea of roles and this place for a moment. One thing that everyone here seemed to share was the idea they should learn Bending. Maybe to start, he should find someone to ask about it. Later. When he was ready to leave this spot. He wasn't ready yet.

His love of flowers is so great that it's the first definite thing that's revealed about him as a person to the protagonists.
The fact that he possessed the Ultimate Atlamillia is proof that he is far from evil, as it's revealed well before he's met in person that Atlamillia choose their masters and never choose those with evil in their hearts. The evil he generated throughout the majority of the game was born of the intense hate he'd developed towards humans, which became the Dark Element and possessed him. Without its influence he reverted back to his normal persona which was shown to be very kind and caring...as well as a little spunky.

It's unclear if, but likely that, he was already in possession of the Ultimate Atlamillia when he appeared in the gardens.

Sometime after this he began trying to gather the Atlamillia himself and returned to the palace, where he destroyed the garden because it reminded him of his lost friend.
Pokemon: Umbreon
Sirus is a Moon Person, and his entire history also revolves around the moon. He lived in the Moon Flower Palace most of the game, and his goal became to cause the second moon to crash into the planet. He later destroys said moon to save said planet, as was his original purpose.
His darker nature throughout the game is the direct result of a deep friendship torn from him and he is quite formidable. He possesses power far stronger than many people in his world and was able to take a beating and still only feign defeat.
As an Umbreon he will have cream-colored rings and his eyes will appear to lack the pupil, looking sort of fluid-like and alien. He'll also wear a bluish bandana with the mark from his robes.
Personality Test
1. Have you ever blurted something out without thinking about the consequences first?
Not that I can think of.
2. Your friend has made a meal that tastes terrible. They ask, "How is it?" You say...?
Uh,,,well... *looks away* It was...okay?
3. You fail miserably! Everyone found out, and they're disappointed in you... What do you do?
Apologize and make up for it if I can I guess. If they'll give me a chance.
4. The phone's ringing! What do you do?
There weren't phones in my time but...you're supposed to answer them, right?
5. Do you think that, no matter what, life goes on?
It should, but it feels like it doesn't. How can you just go on when everything is gone?
Sample RP:
He should have known better. There were humans here too. Just because they, like him, weren't physically human didn't change that. Humans had been brought to this world and that could only end even worse than things already were. Sirus only sighed as he sat on the cliff that was Sharpedo Bluff and watched the bubbles from some Pokemon drift over the water.
There was nothing he could do about it here though. No Star of Oblivion to allow the planet to live by wiping out life temporarily. If he was to do something, then perhaps he could weed out the human Pokemon and eliminate them over time. That could work as they were going into dangerous work anyway. And in that, he could still save others through exploration work.
Alexandra said all things had a role, this would be his.
